I come from a family of settlers from Hong Kong. I grew up in Treaty 3 ¾, or Brant Tract territory, in what is now called Burlington, Ontario.

I'm now based in Tkaronto. The ancestral caretakers of this land are the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Wendat and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

I have an important responsibility to acknowledge that people have been living on this land for over fifteen thousand years. Everyday, I send deep gratitude to the First Nation, Métis, Inuit people who share these lands today and everyday, including newcomers and settlers. I ask the Creator to share space together, to work towards a better understanding of creating inclusive community circles, so that all people of the Creator can be treated with kindness, respect and understanding. I hope we can all work together to
